Former Classes.

Our first book of the year was called  Esperanza Rising. Its about a young girl named Esperanza who experiences personal tragedy that forces her and her mother to flee to California. Our second book was the classic story of Charlotte's  Web. A story about a spider named Charlotte who makes a promise to a young pig named Wilbur.  
We have completed 5 science diagrams: photosynthesis, mountain food chain, pond food chain, food web, and the kelp forest food web.
The Game of Chess in Education

​Students in Room 24 all use i-Ready, a computer program designed to get students excited about learning by integrating powerful assessments and effective and engaging instruction in reading and mathematics.

 Sacramento mural 
Students from room 24 have been working on a sacramento mural. A mural is a big drawing of beautiful places and art in Sacramento.
